Even under strict new ethics rules, corporate lobbyists are spending millions of dollars and throwing lavish parties to influence lawmakers at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. ANP spoke with Nancy Watzman, head of the Sunlight Foundation's Party Time Project, who is tracking the "political partying circuit," as well as Jonathan Pontell, a cultural historian.
